Gradall Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate Gradall excavators to excavate, grade, and level materials for steel mill site preparation and maintenance
• Load, unload, and transport materials using Gradall attachments
• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance including track cleaning and fluid checks
• Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure schedule adherence
• Identify and report mechanical issues and assist with repairs
• Maintain accurate records of operating hours and maintenance
• Follow all safety regulations, incident reporting procedures, and union requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience operating heavy equipment, preferably a Gradall
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and 100 lbs with assistance
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and hazardous environments
• Strong hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills
