Responsibilities

  • Assist in the continuous improvement of Occupational Health programming
  • Support the implementation of new elements within the industrial ergonomics program
  • Perform ergonomic assessments and assess ergonomic risk factors
  • Implement control strategies for ergonomic risks
  • Perform data review and trend analysis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MBA, Master's, PharmD, or PhD)
  • Completion of the first year of the graduate program before the internship starts
  • Must be located in the United States for the duration of the co-op
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree concentration in Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental and Occupational Health, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, or Physical Therapy
  • Knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools and principles
  • Applied knowledge of Cal/OSHA, OSHA, and EPA regulations
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a rapidly evolving environment
