About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the continuous improvement of Occupational Health programming
- Support the implementation of new elements within the industrial ergonomics program
- Perform ergonomic assessments and assess ergonomic risk factors
- Implement control strategies for ergonomic risks
- Perform data review and trend analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MBA, Master's, PharmD, or PhD)
- Completion of the first year of the graduate program before the internship starts
- Must be located in the United States for the duration of the co-op
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree concentration in Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental and Occupational Health, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, or Physical Therapy
- Knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools and principles
- Applied knowledge of Cal/OSHA, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a rapidly evolving environment
