Grab Team Leader and Grab Operative

Responsibilities

• Maintain own and others health and safety
• Carry out safety checks and inspections to vehicles, plant, equipment and sites
• Follow health and hygiene rules
• Ensure work is undertaken with due regard to the environment and prevent contamination
• Backfilling of excavations to correct standards
• Removal of spoil from excavation areas
• Manhandle materials, plant and equipment
• Drive Company vehicles and operate mobile plant for authorised business purposes
• Install and maintain road works to ‘Chapter 8’ standard
• Maintain safety, environmental and quality records
• Report accidents, near misses, faults, damages or defects

Requirements

• Full clean driving licence
• Valid Grab Lorry Loader licence
• National Water Hygiene registration (EUSR)
• NRSWA (Units 1-4 minimum)
• EU Skills registration
• CSCS card
