GPU Physical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Innovate, develop, and implement GPU cores using state-of-the-art tools and technologies
• Manage the complete Physical Design Flow and deliveries of complex, high-speed, low-power GPU cores
• Execute physical implementation activities including Floor-planning, Place and Route, CTS, and Timing Closure
• Perform power planning, IR drop analysis, and power optimization
• Handle multi-mode & multi-corner (MMMC) clock tree synthesis and routing
• Conduct timing optimization, RC extraction, signal integrity, and crosstalk noise analysis
• Debug timing violations and implement timing fixes and functional ECOs
• Collaborate with design, DFT, and PnR teams to resolve constraints validation and verification issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a reputed institution
• 6+ years of experience in Physical Design or Implementation
• Expertise in Floor-planning, Place and Route (PnR), and Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS)
• Proficiency with Synopsys ICC2 or Cadence Innovus
• Strong expertise in timing convergence for high-frequency data-path intensive cores and advanced STA concepts
• Experience with Physical Verification (DRC/LVS), PDN, and Formal verification
• Strong Tcl/Perl scripting skills and proficiency in Linux/Unix shell
• Proven ability to work within a large team to meet project milestones and technical deliverables
