GPU Performance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize the performance and power of GPU cores
• Build functional model simulations and develop software to verify correctness and meet advanced performance goals
• Design, program, and execute complex graphics tests to ensure high-quality functionality, stability, and power efficiency
• Develop critical driver and compiler software to support GPU products
• Facilitate collaboration with third-party vendors and cross-functional organizations to align implementation with project goals
• Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for complex GPU projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in Software, Hardware, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience with a Master's/PhD)
• Advanced knowledge of GPU architecture and functionality
• Experience with functional model simulations
• Ability to develop driver and compiler software

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of direct, relevant GPU experience
• Experience interacting with senior leadership (Director level and above)
• Previous experience in a technical leadership role
