GPU perf/power profiling and analysis engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to silicon-based performance and power profiling analysis for next-generation GPUs and mobile graphics workloads.
• Perform performance and power profiling at both GPU and system levels for mobile graphics workloads, including benchmarks and games.
• Identify and explain performance/power gaps using hardware/software architectural knobs to drive next-generation enhancements.
• Develop tools to create efficient, streamlined, and scalable debug, validation, and verification tasks.
• Participate in next-generation model improvements by providing post-silicon learning to optimize hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant on-the-job experience (or higher based on advanced degree).
• Understanding of graphics APIs and knowledge of graphics workloads (games/benchmarks and traces).
• Experience with GPU-centric performance and power data collection.
• Knowledge of power measurement methodologies, including equipment familiarity and data interpretation.
• Programming proficiency, preferably in Python, for building and maintaining automation.
• High-level understanding of SoC components such as CPU, GPU, DDR, and path-to-DDR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in SoC-level and product-level power analysis.
• Experience in competitive performance and power analysis for CPU or GPU-centric use cases.
