Government Relations Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the company and UAE government authorities including MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, DED, Dubai Municipality, and Free Zones.
• Manage all visa, immigration, and labor processes, including employment visas, labor permits, Emirates ID, renewals, and cancellations.
• Oversee trade licenses, company registrations, regulatory approvals, and operational permits across mainland and free zone entities.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, WPS, Emiratization, and pension requirements.
• Advise leadership on regulatory risks, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
• Supervise PRO activities and coordinate with HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations departments.
• Maintain strong relationships with government entities and represent the company in official meetings and inspections.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in Government Relations, PRO, or Corporate Services roles within the UAE.
• Hands-on proficiency with government portals including MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, Dubai Trade, UAE Pass, TAMM, and Tasheel.
• Proven experience managing trade licenses and multi-entity regulatory compliance.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
