Government Facility Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
• Monitor the location for unusual activity and report observations according to procedures
• Complete routine reports and communicate with site contacts or emergency personnel

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience
• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
