Government Contract Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own the contract administration lifecycle, including reviewing, drafting, and processing contract awards, modifications, CPARS, and price justification
• Define contractual obligations and deliverables in collaboration with Business Development and Engineering
• Analyze and respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and terms and conditions
• Support business development by fostering relationships with government contracting officers
• Serve as a contracts subject matter expert for the Business Development team
• Develop and execute tactical plans for contracting pathways for sales opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in government contracting or procurement
• Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS, OTAs, RFx, source selection, and compliance matrices
• Experience with firm fixed-price contracts
• Strong program and project management skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Current U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one
• Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment
