Governance & Compliance, Expert Consultant

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data governance and personal data protection policies, standards, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with personal data protection regulations and organizational governance requirements
• Conduct data classification activities and privacy impact assessments
• Monitor data quality, security controls, and governance practices across the organization
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory assessments
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify, assess, and mitigate data-related risks
• Promote awareness of data governance and privacy requirements through training and awareness initiatives
• Prepare governance, compliance, and privacy reports and related documentation
• Lead and manage governance and privacy initiatives and manage a team to ensure effective execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Privacy, or related disciplines
• Strong knowledge of data protection regulations, privacy requirements, and data governance frameworks
• Experience implementing governance controls, compliance programs, and privacy management practices
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams
• Experience working in regulated or government environments
• Native Arabic and fluent English language skills
