Responsibilities
- Manage housekeeping teams, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
- Create weekly schedules using tools like Skello, ensuring alignment with hotel occupancy
- Coordinate with the reception team to ensure smooth guest stays and accurate billing
- Distribute daily tasks based on arrivals, departures, and stay-overs
- Perform quality controls on rooms, floors, and common areas
- Liaise with maintenance for repairs and technical issues
- Manage guest complaints regarding rooms and handle lost and found items
- Oversee inventory and purchasing for linens, amenities, hygiene products, and mini-bars
- Conduct monthly inventories and analyze discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar high-standing establishment
- Proficiency in English; a second language is a plus
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead by example
- Highly organized, autonomous, and discreet
- Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset
