Google Platform Engineer - GCP

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions including Cloud Run, GKE, and Compute Engine.
• Build and manage enterprise-level infrastructure as code (IaC) using advanced Terraform and GitOps methodologies.
• Architect secure landing zones and foundations to facilitate seamless cloud migrations.
• Implement and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for automated and reliable software delivery.
• Develop automated scripts using Python or Bash to enhance operational efficiency.
• Design and manage secure cloud network architectures, including VPCs, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Act as a technical consultant to stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery and continuous optimization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer managing secure Google Cloud solutions at an enterprise level.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform core services.
• Advanced proficiency in building infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Experience working on Federal Government projects and navigating specific security/compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, GitOps, and DevOps principles.
• Deep understanding of networking (VPCs, subnets, DNS) and cloud security best practices.
• Professional-level Google Cloud certification (e.g., Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Developer).
