Google Cloud Solution Architect - GCP

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and migration of robust architectures leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Act as a visionary technical leader, translating business challenges into scalable cloud solutions.
• Drive end-to-end cloud migrations using Rehost, Replatform, and Refactor strategies.
• Champion automation and reliability through DevOps, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through best practices and emerging technologies.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on GCP architecture and implementation.
• Proven expertise in leading complex cloud migrations from on-premises (e.g., VMware) or other cloud providers.
• Deep technical knowledge of GCP services including Compute, Kubernetes, Cloud Run, Networking, and Data Services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and DevOps/GitOps principles.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Go (Golang), or Bash.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with modern AI/ML pipelines such as Vertex AI and BigQuery.
• Familiarity with Agentic orchestration frameworks.
• Background in specific industry verticals like finance, healthcare, or telecommunications.
• Project management experience or certifications (AgilePM, Prince2, PMP).
