Google Cloud Defence Specialist

Responsibilities

• Drive Google Cloud business development strategy specifically tailored for the UK Defence sector.
• Provide technical insight and guidance on cloud and infrastructure solutions to ensure alignment with Defence security and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to shape propositions and support proposal development.
• Engage with key stakeholders to identify new opportunities within the Ministry of Defence (MoD) or wider Defence environment.
• Maintain high security standards while operating within sensitive environments.

Requirements

• Senior Manager or Associate Director level professional experience.
• Strong background working within the UK Defence sector.
• Active SC security clearance is mandatory; DV clearance is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to bridge technical cloud/infrastructure knowledge with commercial business development objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep understanding of Ministry of Defence (MoD) operational requirements and procurement processes.
