About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the receiving process by ensuring the quality, quantity, price, and shelf-life of incoming supplies match purchase orders
  • Post and feed all invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, and receiving records into the Prologic System on a daily basis
  • Update the purchasing manager regarding rejected deliveries, short supplies, or non-supply of products
  • Secure received products and arrange timely delivery to respective departments or stores
  • Maintain accurate documentation for Zoo properties returned or sent out for repairs and refilling
  • Update accounts payable with all necessary supporting documentation at the end of each day
  • Adhere to Zoo hygiene and HACCP standards, ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures are met
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in receiving and storage areas
  • Support cost control objectives and maintain audit traces

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in goods receiving or inventory management
  • Proficiency in using the Prologic System
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety protocols
  • Excellent inventory documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to follow strict policies and procedures regarding receiving processes
