Golf Course Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Maintain the golf course and surrounding grounds in top playing condition
• Oversee application and documentation of fertilizers and pesticides in compliance with laws
• Ensure daily upkeep of landscaping, pool spaces, courts, and parking lots
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance and cart staff
• Plan and oversee course improvements, remodeling projects, and capital enhancements
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets
• Collaborate with Golf Professional Staff and Director of Golf
• Maintain accurate records for inventory, maintenance, and weather data

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent at an 18-hole course
• 2-year degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field
• Current pesticide application license
• Proven ability to manage course conditions, staff, and budgets

Preferred Qualifications

• GCSAA Certification
• Experience with course renovation or large-scale improvement projects
• Strong working knowledge of irrigation systems and turf equipment
