Golf Course Equipment Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on golf course maintenance equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and small engines
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues
• Sharpen and adjust reels and bedknives to meet championship-level playing standards
• Maintain organized service records and maintenance schedules
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Assist with equipment setup and support for tournaments and special events
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized equipment maintenance facility

Requirements

• Previous experience as a mechanic, equipment technician, or small engine mechanic preferred
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, gasoline and diesel engines
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues independently
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reel grinding and cutting unit setup
• Prior golf course equipment experience
