Golden Path Lead/Squad Lead

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overarching vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Golden Path portfolio across multiple technologies including Java, Angular, .NET, COBOL, PLI, and Python.
• Serve as the IT Practice Owner for Design & Build, overseeing people, processes, and technology to improve SDLC controls and security.
• Act as a people manager for engineering teams, leading performance evaluations, development planning, and recruitment.
• Govern the lifecycle, standards, and reusable engineering patterns to ensure scalable and future-proof practices across the organization.
• Manage the Design and Build community of practice, integrating patterns into automated guardrails and shift-left compliance.
• Oversee the release of Golden Path features, tracking adoption and reducing delivery friction to enhance developer experience.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture to ensure consistency and Security by Design.

Requirements

• Strong experience in engineering leadership, DevOps, and modern software practices.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams across different locations.
• Demonstrated people leadership capability, including coaching, feedback, and managing high-performing teams in an agile environment.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), secure development, and CI/CD automation.
• Solid understanding of agile delivery models and experience collaborating with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
• Strong change management mindset with the ability to influence at scale and drive standardization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with both modern (Java, Angular, .NET) and legacy/specialized technologies (COBOL, PLI) is a plus.
