GO Fellow

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group academic instruction in Math and/or English Language Arts (ELA)
• Implement pre-developed lesson plans and instructional materials with fidelity
• Assess student understanding and provide targeted support to address learning gaps
• Track student attendance, participation, and academic progress
• Establish a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Serve as a mentor and positive role model for students
• Participate in all required trainings, coaching sessions, and program meetings

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree or current enrollment in an accredited college or university program
• U.S. Citizenship or legal Permanent Residency status
• Must have served no more than three previous AmeriCorps service terms
• Ability to travel to a GO partner school up to 5 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working or volunteering with children
• Strong relationship building and communication skills
• Commitment to educational equity and diversity

Benefits
