Lynk’s technology enables mobile network operators' subscribers to send and receive text messages to and from space via standard unmodified, mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Review satellite telemetry related to flight dynamics and ADCS to assess health and performance
• Lead flight dynamics efforts during launch and early operations (LEOP) phases
• Drive development of software tools for orbital dynamics analysis and automation
• Build and implement automation pipelines for Collision Avoidance (COLA)
• Lead planning and execution of satellite maneuvers including altitude adjustments and phasing
• Develop maneuver strategies to maximize operational efficiency and extend satellite lifetime
• Perform detailed analysis of constellation configurations to optimize system performance
• Conduct long-term sustainment analyses including fuel budgeting and end-of-life strategy

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in satellite operations, mission design, maneuver planning, or Collision Avoidance analysis
• Strong proficiency in orbital mechanics, satellite dynamics, and control theory
• Experience with collision avoidance, conjunction assessment, or safety-critical decision systems
• Knowledge of Space Situational Awareness (SSA) principles and Conjunction Data Messages
• Proficiency in numerical methods, algorithms, or propagator development
• Experience in software tool development for orbital dynamics
• Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, Orekit, or STK
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
