GM/Chief Operations Officer (COO)

About the Company

Our client is an internationally established engineering consultancy with 500+ engineers and detailers across 5 countries. They deliver BIM enabled engineering services, such as Structural or MEP engineering for buildings and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Own full operational P&L, including revenue, margins, and EBITDA
• Drive growth via utilization, pricing, and market expansion
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery and maintain high NPS
• Scale operations through workforce planning and training
• Lead digital transformation, automation, and BIM-based QA tools
• Implement ISO and CMMI-equivalent quality systems
• Build strong second-line leadership and a high-performance culture
• Launch new services like Precast, Facade, and Scan-to-BIM

Requirements

• 15–25 years of total professional experience
• 10+ years in steel/RC detailing or BIM (USA/UK/Aus markets preferred)
• 7–10 years in senior leadership roles in firms with ₹50 Cr+ revenue
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering (mandatory)
• Proficiency with AISC, Eurocode, BS, and AS/NZS codes
• Expertise in Tekla, Revit, STADPRO, ETABS, SDS/2, StruMIS, Navisworks, or Solibri
• Experience managing LOD 100–500 workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Tech degree
• MBA from a Tier-1 institution
