About the Company

The Solana Foundation is a non-profit based in Zug, Switzerland, dedicated to the adoption, decentralization, and security of the Solana network. Solana is a high performance blockchain that can deliver a fast and friendly user experience, without sacrificing security.

Responsibilities

• Own Solana Foundation's entire strategy and presence in the Bay Area.
• Build deep relationships across the AI/ML startup, research, and infrastructure communities.
• Identify, cultivate, and activate the region's strongest builders.
• Build trusted relationships with the Bay Area's top VCs, accelerators, and incubators.
• Set the regional event strategy including hackathons, founder dinners, and technical salons.
• Forge strategic partnerships across AI, fintech, and consumer tech.
• Represent the Foundation in high-stakes conversations with investors, founders, and press.

Requirements

• Senior operator with a decade or more of experience in venture capital, ecosystem leadership, company founding, or scaling.
• Deeply networked in the Bay Area with established relationships among founders and investors.
• Fluent in both crypto/Solana and AI/ML technical landscapes.
• Strong judgment in capital allocation and resource deployment.
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work with high autonomy and ambiguity.
• Must be based full-time in the San Francisco Bay Area.
