About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the global digital video programming strategy for GQ, focusing on US and British markets.
- Develop high-cadence programming, including podcast-style shows, to expand audience reach and engagement.
- Oversee the full programming lifecycle, from establishing editorial calendars to forecasting content to meet KPIs.
- Manage the GQ video staff, providing coaching, leadership, and professional guidance.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Content Strategy, Audience Development, and Commercial to drive revenue and brand growth.
- Review and approve all stages of production, including treatments, scripts, casting, budgets, and final cuts.
- Maintain a cohesive brand look and feel across all digital platforms and global markets.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in multiplatform storytelling, including video production and programming.
- Deep expertise in digital video platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and FAST.
- Proven track record of driving audience growth and managing creative execution for digital brands.
- Extensive experience managing creative teams and navigating complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end video production and distribution process.
- Ability to balance creative excellence with business-critical KPIs and revenue generation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emotionally intelligent leadership style.
