About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute global trade and ERP-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications for Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) and related ERP platforms.
- Analyze import/export transactions and large data sets to identify compliance gaps, automation opportunities, and process efficiencies.
- Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities for trade compliance processes.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and process documentation to support change management.
- Prepare and present operational performance metrics and analytical insights to support continuous improvement.
- Serve as a key liaison between Global Trade, IT, and external partners during system deployment and stabilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in global trade compliance, import/export operations, or ERP-related project roles.
- Advanced knowledge of global logistics operations, customs regulations, and trade compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) or comparable GTM systems.
- Strong understanding of INCOTERMS, import/export documentation, and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and project management tools such as Power BI, Visio, Smartsheet, or JIRA.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum.
- Ability to write SQL queries and develop macros to support advanced analytics and reporting.
- Practical experience working in Agile or hybrid project management environments.
