About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute global trade and ERP-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications for Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) and related ERP platforms.
- Analyze import/export transactions and large data sets to identify compliance gaps and automation opportunities.
- Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities for trade compliance processes.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and process documentation to support change management.
- Prepare and present operational performance metrics and analytical insights to leadership.
- Provide subject-matter guidance to junior analysts and support audits or regulatory inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in global trade compliance, import/export operations, or ERP-related project roles.
- Advanced working knowledge of INCOTERMS, global customs regulations, and trade compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) or comparable GTM systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Excel, Power BI, Visio, Smartsheet, or JIRA.
- Ability to write SQL queries and develop macros to support analytics and reporting.
- Strong understanding of import/export documentation, including commercial invoices and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR).
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum.
- Practical experience working in Agile or hybrid project management environments.
