Global Supply Manager

About the Company

Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFx processes including scoping requirements, issuing RFQs, and driving supplier selection
• Build and maintain should-cost models for wire harnesses and cable assemblies
• Negotiate piece price, tooling, payment terms, and master agreements
• Own commercial relationships with key suppliers and manage performance escalations
• Develop and execute commodity strategies across low and high voltage harnesses and connectors
• Drive supplier readiness across NPI, production ramp, and sustained manufacturing
• Present recommendations to engineering and executive stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of sourcing experience in a similar role
• Background in sourcing high voltage and/or low voltage wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and interconnect commodities
• Core understanding of cable cost drivers and assembly labor economics
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (average 25%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with custom Cable Development
• Strong record of applying first principles thinking toward supplier negotiations
• Experience managing escalations up to the executive level
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems
