Global Supply Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFx processes for cell manufacturers, evaluating chemistry, performance, and cost
• Build and maintain detailed cell cost models to anchor negotiations in first principles
• Negotiate cell pricing, volume commitments, and long-term supply agreements to secure continuity
• Own commercial relationships with cell manufacturers and upstream material suppliers at the executive level
• Develop multi-chemistry sourcing strategies while monitoring raw material market dynamics and geopolitical risks

Requirements

• 5+ years of sourcing experience in battery cells, energy storage, or complex commodity categories
• Deep experience sourcing LFP, NMC, or comparable lithium-ion chemistries
• Strong proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet-based cost modeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying first principles thinking to supplier negotiations
• Proven track record of managing executive-level supplier escalations
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems
