Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFx processes for capital equipment including scoping technical and commercial requirements
• Source automated manufacturing equipment, materials handling, warehouse infrastructure, fleet, and power/electrical CAPEX equipment
• Build and maintain spares strategy and should-cost models for equipment packages
• Negotiate equipment pricing, payment milestones, spares, warranty terms, and master agreements
• Own commercial relationships with equipment OEMs, integrators, and distributors
• Synthesize findings and present recommendations on contract awards and risk mitigation to stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of sourcing experience in capital equipment, manufacturing automation, or industrial CAPEX
• Background in sourcing automated manufacturing equipment, materials handling, fleet, or power/electrical equipment
• Fluency in equipment commercial structures, site acceptance terms, and lifecycle cost analysis
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (average 25%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems
• Strong record of applying first principles thinking toward supplier negotiations
• Experience managing successful escalations up to the executive level
