Global Supply Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFx processes including scoping requirements, issuing RFQs, and driving supplier selection
• Build and maintain should-cost models for plastic parts covering material, cycle time, tonnage, and tooling
• Negotiate piece price, tooling ownership, payment terms, and master agreements
• Manage commercial relationships with key suppliers, tracking performance and managing escalations
• Develop commodity strategies for injection-molded plastics, LSR, thermal materials, and resin/adhesive systems
• Drive supplier readiness for production ramps, capacity planning, and lead time management
• Present recommendations on contract awards, cost reviews, and risk mitigation to stakeholders

Requirements

• 3+ years of sourcing experience in a similar role
• Background in sourcing injection-molded plastics, LSR, thermal materials, or specialty resins and adhesives
• Fluency in tooling economics, mold design constraints, and resin pricing dynamics
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (average 25%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven record of applying first principles thinking to supplier negotiations
• Experience managing successful escalations up to the executive level
• Ability to learn quickly and prioritize in a fast-paced startup environment
