Global Supply Manager, Avionics

Responsibilities

• Define company-wide strategy for sourcing electrical commodities including sensors, PCBs, PCBA, harness assemblies, and integrated circuits
• Lead cradle-to-grave supplier management from onboarding to tracking build milestones
• Drive contract negotiations to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets
• Create supplier scorecards and metrics to ensure consistent performance
• Develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies
• Execute purchasing transactions and manage open orders using materials requirement planning
• Establish strategic relationships with manufacturing companies and distributors

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management or engineering in the aerospace industry
• 3+ years of experience with electrical schematics and electromechanical systems
• 3+ years managing Bill of Materials for electrical assemblies
• Experience managing electrical suppliers in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of inventory management for electrical hardware
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or mathematics
• Experience procuring SMD components, guidance/navigation hardware, or solar array materials
• Experience in a new product introduction (NPI) environment
• Experience reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
