Responsibilities

• Take purchasing ownership of Direct Materials
• Design and develop sourcing strategies for key Spacecraft components
• Negotiate pricing and terms within responsible sourcing commodities
• Manage strategic spend and budget reporting of direct materials
• Identify new supplier candidates and drive continuous improvement
• Implement, maintain, and manage direct contracts
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to meet business requirements
• Manage material flow, including logistics and inventory within manufacturing facilities

Requirements

• U.S. Person status (required for export controlled data access)
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent business degree
• 3-6 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Operations
• Demonstrated track record of cost reduction and on-time delivery
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and customer engagements

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in mechanical commodity or harnessing/avionics sourcing
