Global Supply Base Quality Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers' technical development and product quality for Direct Liquid Cooling products supporting Dell's hardware portfolio.
• Interface with Global Supply Base Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Base Management to ensure products meet quality levels.
• Represent Global Supply Base Quality Engineering on cross-functional teams to ensure on-time new product releases.
• Formulate and manage continuous improvement projects to improve supplier efficiency, reliability, and product cost.
• Facilitate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and manage technology development consistent with Dell’s roadmap.
• Perform supplier audits and monitor product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of related professional experience.
• BSME, BSEE, or a related technical degree.
• In-depth understanding of basic engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to facilitate strategic direction into meaningful actions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Direct experience with Direct Liquid Cooling technologies.
• Specialized knowledge in Thermal Engineering.
