Global Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential new suppliers through technical capability assessments to ensure high-quality component delivery.
• Execute quality methodologies including DFMAT, SAF, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, PV&V, and FAI.
• Manage and monitor APQP processes during NPI projects to maintain quality and project timelines.
• Facilitate Design for Excellence (DfX) collaboration between R&D and suppliers to enhance product design.
• Ensure Critical to Quality (CtQ) characteristics are communicated to and maintained by suppliers.
• Support supplier development and improvement on APQP and coordinate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR).
• Review Supplier Agreements and conduct defect analysis to resolve quality issues effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with APQP processes.
• Ability to conduct supplier technical capability assessments.
• Proficiency in Data Analysis and Interpretation.
• Knowledge of DFMAT, SAF, MSA, PFMEA, and SPC.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 4 years of professional experience in supplier quality.
• Expertise in CAPA methodologies and Continuous Improvement.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Quality Management Procedures.
