About the role
Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential new suppliers through technical capability assessments to ensure high-quality component delivery.
- Execute quality methodologies including DFMAT, SAF, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, PV&V, and FAI.
- Manage and monitor APQP processes during NPI projects to maintain quality and project timelines.
- Facilitate Design for Excellence (DfX) collaboration between R&D and suppliers to enhance product design.
- Ensure Critical to Quality (CtQ) characteristics are communicated to and maintained by suppliers.
- Support supplier development and improvement on APQP and coordinate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR).
- Review Supplier Agreements and conduct defect analysis to resolve quality issues effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
- Experience with APQP processes.
- Ability to conduct supplier technical capability assessments.
- Proficiency in Data Analysis and Interpretation.
- Knowledge of DFMAT, SAF, MSA, PFMEA, and SPC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 4 years of professional experience in supplier quality.
- Expertise in CAPA methodologies and Continuous Improvement.
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Quality Management Procedures.
