Global Sourcing & Supply Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop a nuanced understanding of the commodity landscape to forecast industry trends and gauge emerging competitive forces.
• Negotiate optimal terms with suppliers, balancing cost, volume, and quality to secure long-term supply continuity.
• Collaborate across the organization to communicate findings to senior leaders and identify potential supply issues affecting product strategy.
• Optimize global supply chain performance through cost and scenario analysis, benchmarking, and market intelligence.
• Assess and mitigate business risks by managing global supply chain disruptions in real time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3-6 years of overall experience in a procurement or operations background.
• Proven experience in supplier management and solving complex supply chain issues.
• Hands-on experience developing robust localized supply chains in India for key technologies (e.g., automation, capital equipment).
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or MS, preferably in Supply Chain management.
• Demonstrated tenacity, passion, and skill in high-stakes negotiations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with global teams.
• Experience working with OEMs and Contract Manufacturers within the consumer electronics industry.
• Ability to operate independently and make decisions in dynamic environments with limited information.
• Direct experience in long-term capacity planning.
