Global Sourcing Manager - Defense

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term sourcing strategies and secure cross-functional buy-in for the Physical AI stack.
• Lead strategic procurement for high-performance GPU clusters, edge-compute modules, and specialized sensors like LiDAR, thermal, and radio.
• Partner with Engineering from the prototyping phase to ensure hardware meets SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, and Cost) requirements for ruggedized defense.
• Create and execute RFx strategies and manage complex deal structuring.
• Develop procurement processes in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and corporate policies.
• Ensure organizational readiness and compliance for DCMA Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry-leading suppliers to reduce cost and increase value.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or global supply management.
• 2+ years of experience leading Physical AI or Robotics Commodity Procurement (e.g., GPUs/FPGA, edge-processing, or advanced sensing suites).
• Deep expertise with FAR, DFARS, DCMA audits, and CPSR.
• Proven experience working within DoD, aerospace, or defense contracting environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, finance, business, or a related field.
• Exceptional negotiation and executive-level communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack.
