Global Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier selection processes, including leading RFI, RFQ, and contract term negotiations.
• Drive product cost control and mitigate cost creep throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Program Management to assess cost feasibility during the definition phase.
• Coordinate with ODM and CM supply bases to validate tooling, assembly capacity, and launch readiness.
• Create capacity analyses and detailed Clear To Build (CTB) reports.
• Identify and manage necessary capital investments for manufacturing at supplier sites.
• Drive risk buy decisions and long lead part procurement to support product launches.
• Coordinate with Global Planning teams to transition supply and demand support post-launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional purchasing or sourcing experience.
• Proven experience in consumer electronics manufacturing.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and products such as phone cases or device protection.
• Exceptional computer literacy, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
