Global Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Own high-impact commodities from initial sourcing strategy through to final negotiation
• Execute end-to-end RFx processes and complex negotiations
• Identify and establish best-in-class hardware partnerships with industry leaders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with supplier executive teams
• Drive cost reduction and maximize value across cost, contract, and product
• Lead process improvement projects to maximize operational efficiency
• Manage internal and external stakeholders through influence

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or global supply management
• 3+ years of experience leading contract manufacturing procurement
• Thorough understanding of complex contract structures
• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, finance, business, or a related field
• Strong executive-level communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions amidst ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree
• Experience working within a rapidly evolving startup environment
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and scaled production
• Proficiency with Slack and the Google tool suite (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
