Global Service Agent

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of heavy export cargo and support sales, customs, and ramp operations for efficient shipment movement.
• Monitor shipments, research transit delays, and initiate actions to ensure timely delivery.
• Act as a liaison between sales, customers, brokers, shippers, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless delivery.
• Advise customers on required documentation, paperwork completion, and duty/tax estimates.
• Identify and escalate systemic service issues through research and resolution.
• Audit international paperwork for accuracy and assist customers with billing issues or credit requests.
• Perform administrative tasks including data entry, shipment monitoring, and coordination of front-line operations.

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English (minimum 450 TOEIC points).
• Three (3) years of experience in international transportation, freight forwarding, dangerous goods, or brokerage services.
• Knowledge of mainframe systems, PC systems, and web-based applications.
• Ability to work different shifts as required.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, and human relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
