About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development, execution, and dissemination of scientific and medical publications for Sanofi Vaccines
  • Lead publication planning and operational activities for selected franchises and products
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with Sanofi policies and Good Publication Practices (GPP)
  • Manage direct resources and collaborate with global hubs for medical writing, editing, and journal submissions
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Publication Plan process and governance
  • Act as the Vaccine Medical representative in scientific and publication communities to ensure business needs are met
  • Provide day-to-day management, coaching, and mentorship to the Scientific & Medical Publications team
  • Oversee accurate and timely budget management for team projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related field (Advanced degree such as MS, MD, PhD, or PharmD preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • At least 3 years of dedicated medical publications experience
  • Strong working knowledge of ICMJE and Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven ability to build strong internal and external working relationships
  • Experience working within large multinational teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience specifically within vaccines or public health
  • Previous experience in people management and leadership
  • Experience in medical affairs at a global, regional, or local level
