Global Safety Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacovigilance (PV) and risk management expertise as a safety expert for assigned products
• Lead cross-functional Safety Management Teams (SMTs) and internal Safety Analysis Teams (SATs)
• Drive signal detection, analysis, and proactive safety surveillance activities
• Conduct benefit-risk assessments and develop effective risk management strategies and plans
• Represent the safety position in cross-functional submission teams and respond to Health Authority inquiries
• Document, coordinate, and validate periodic safety reports, including RMPs, IND Annual Reports, and DSURs/PSURs

Requirements

• M.D. Degree (Board Certified or Board eligible preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of international pharmacovigilance experience or equivalent industry experience in clinical development
• Excellent clinical judgment and the ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources
• Strong leadership skills within a cross-functional team environment
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
