Global Responsible Sourcing Junior Manager

Responsibilities

• Assess supplier risks using Sedex and other tools to identify human rights, environmental, and compliance concerns
• Review supplier assessments, audit findings (e.g., SMETA), and third-party intelligence to identify high-risk suppliers
• Identify salient human rights risks such as forced labour, child labour, and worker welfare across various geographies
• Support the implementation of Diageo’s responsible sourcing and human rights due diligence framework
• Recommend and track mitigation and remediation actions in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support supplier capability building by guiding them on expectations and required corrective actions
• Collaborate with procurement, sustainability, and legal teams to address risks and drive continuous improvement
• Monitor evolving regulatory and ESG requirements, including Modern Slavery and EU due diligence regulations

Requirements

• 5-9 years of experience in human rights, responsible sourcing, ESG, or supplier risk management
• Strong understanding of international human rights frameworks (UNGPs, ILO standards, OECD Due Diligence Guidance)
• Experience working with supplier data, audits, or risk assessment methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into action
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment
• Prior procurement experience is preferred
