Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software and functions for domain products within an international Agile environment.
• Develop C/C++ code according to software requirements and debug issues raised by validation teams.
• Perform software unit testing, integration, and qualification testing.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams including hardware, algorithms, and scientific researchers to ensure development coherence.
• Develop software according to automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, with a focus on safety, cybersecurity, and A-SPICE.
• Build, extend, and maintain internal software libraries for reuse in customer projects.
• Support the technical quote process for new lighting projects by providing implementation ideas.

Requirements

• University Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development and integration, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in C and C++ with strong scripting skills in Python, MATLAB, or C#.
• Experience with microcontroller architectures, communication buses, and MBD development (MATLAB/Simulink).
• Familiarity with Agile (SCRUM) and traditional V-Model development methodologies.
• Knowledge of automotive quality and safety standards, specifically Automotive SPICE and ISO26262.
• Experience using development tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Vector Tools (CANape, CANoe, Canalyzer).
• Fluent English communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with AUTOSAR architecture, methodology, and toolchains.
• Knowledge of requirements management tools like DOORS or Codebeamer.
