Global Quality Assurance Advisor

Responsibilities

• Assess whether laboratories follow quality control procedures and industry standards, including ISO 17025.
• Conduct laboratory assessments onsite or remotely through desktop and video audits.
• Examine laboratory standards, procedures, test methods, and equipment for conformance to requirements.
• Identify and document issues regarding documentation, data quality, and performance.
• Prepare detailed assessment reports including compliance status and recommendations for system enhancement.
• Lead assessment preparation, progress, and close-out meetings with staff and management.
• Provide technical consulting and quality assurance support to laboratories and business units.
• Coordinate with auditing teams to ensure effective communication between management and auditors.

Requirements

• BE in Chemical, Polymer, or Oil & Gas, or an MSc degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of auditing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience.
• Strong knowledge of product quality assurance systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or IATF.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel internationally (approximately 50% travel requirement).
• Fluency in written and oral English.
• Experience with auditing tools, control charts, and statistical methods.
• Ability to obtain HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ (American Society for Quality) certifications.
• Experience in the Oil and Chemical industry laboratory or manufacturing environments.
