Global Project Manager, Logistics

Responsibilities

• Lead global and regional logistics projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Design and optimize end-to-end logistics workflows, focusing on automation, scalability, and adaptability.
• Map, analyze, and re-engineer logistics processes to eliminate inefficiencies and introduce best practices.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to configure, test, and deploy RPA, AI-driven functionalities, and digital tools.
• Drive improvements in order capture, order management, inventory control, and collections processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional international teams including finance, supply chain, IT, sales, and operations.
• Monitor and report project performance against objectives, identifying and escalating risks.
• Ensure compliance with international trade, logistics regulations, and internal company standards.

Requirements

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in global logistics, supply chain operations, or project management.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale logistics or operations transformation projects across multiple geographies.
• Hands-on experience with process mapping and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of RPA, AI applications, and digital process automation in a logistics environment.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Oracle or comparable platforms).
• Proficiency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management certification.
• Proficiency in Italian or other languages.
• Experience with change management in a global, multicultural context.
