Global Project Head, Gastrointestinal Oncology Leader

Responsibilities

• Drive gastrointestinal (GI) oncology disease area strategy across multiple assets and contribute to multi-asset portfolio optimization.
• Lead disease-area focused clinical development strategy and ensure correct planning of end-to-end compound strategies.
• Interface with cross-functional Global Product Teams (GPTs) and represent the Disease Area function at commercial brand strategy meetings.
• Present disease-area strategy to key internal stakeholders, external investigators, advisory boards, and worldwide regulatory authorities.
• Contribute to the clinical assessment of external business development opportunities in gastrointestinal malignancies.

Requirements

• MD or PhD with proven experience in solid tumor oncology clinical development.
• 7+ years of experience in early to late-stage clinical research and development within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of the global drug development process and functional roles.
• Proven experience in successful submissions for marketing authorization.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional clinical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing regulatory submissions and negotiating with health authorities.
• Experience collaborating with commercial and medical functions in launch or post-launch settings.
• Experience working effectively within matrix environments.
• Experience in regional alliance partnerships or co-development.
