About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive gastrointestinal (GI) oncology disease area strategy across multiple assets and contribute to multi-asset portfolio optimization.
- Lead disease-area focused clinical development strategy and ensure correct planning of end-to-end compound strategies.
- Interface with cross-functional Global Product Teams (GPTs) and represent the Disease Area function at commercial brand strategy meetings.
- Present disease-area strategy to key internal stakeholders, external investigators, advisory boards, and worldwide regulatory authorities.
- Contribute to the clinical assessment of external business development opportunities in gastrointestinal malignancies.
Requirements
- MD or PhD with proven experience in solid tumor oncology clinical development.
- 7+ years of experience in early to late-stage clinical research and development within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the global drug development process and functional roles.
- Proven experience in successful submissions for marketing authorization.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional clinical teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience preparing regulatory submissions and negotiating with health authorities.
- Experience collaborating with commercial and medical functions in launch or post-launch settings.
- Experience working effectively within matrix environments.
- Experience in regional alliance partnerships or co-development.
