Global Product Manager - CV/APC

Responsibilities

• Lead the global platform roadmap for CV/APC coatings, including basecoat, clearcoat, and primer.
• Align resin systems and performance specifications with market trends and customer needs.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for growth, cost reduction, and complexity optimization.
• Serve as the commercial lead during early-stage innovation processes to ensure strategic fit and value potential.
• Monitor product performance, profitability, and NPP valuation by platform and region.
• Drive resin platform transitions and simplification strategies in collaboration with technology and operations teams.
• Partner with regional product managers to ensure global alignment on product evolution and standards.
• Support commercial teams during major customer discussions, RFPs, and product positioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or business.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, coatings systems, or the commercial vehicle/plastics segment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead product roadmaps and guide innovation investments.
• Familiarity with Stage-Gate innovation processes and global portfolio governance.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to link product decisions to profitability and operational feasibility.
• Ability to perform moderate global travel for regional alignment and VOC initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant technical or business field.
