Global Process Owner Indirect Taxes

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of standardized indirect tax processes within the S/4HANA project as a Business Owner.
• Establish and lead a global network of indirect tax compliance experts across FCA, VCE, and VFS.
• Validate and prioritize new requirements and identify gaps within the indirect tax area.
• Ensure accurate tax determination for VAT, GST, and other indirect taxes.
• Collaborate with functional teams to integrate tax requirements into the S/4HANA finance system.
• Provide guidance to IT and project stakeholders regarding indirect tax regulations and compliance.
• Support the testing, validation, and development of training materials for tax-related functionalities.
• Develop and collaborate on process maps to support the design and build of the global solution.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of indirect taxes, specifically VAT and GST.
• Strong understanding of business processes within multinational companies.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP Finance systems and tax determination processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with S/4HANA or similar large-scale finance implementations.
• Experience managing international indirect taxes in a multinational environment.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of the Swedish language.
