Global Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

• Design and own the global payroll strategy, including operating model, governance structure, and long-term roadmap
• Establish global payroll standards, policies, controls, and documentation
• Oversee and process end-to-end payroll operations for the U.S. and Canada
• Provide oversight of payroll tax compliance, including filings, remittances, and reconciliations
• Define global payroll technology strategy and lead vendor strategy including RFPs and contract negotiations
• Partner with regional HR and Finance leaders to ensure adherence to global standards
• Serve as the global escalation point for complex payroll issues and compliance risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 8–10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including global payroll strategy or multi-country oversight
• Hands-on experience with U.S. and Canadian payroll operations
• Experience with global payroll and HR systems such as Workday, ADP, SAP, or UKG
• Proven experience working with global payroll vendors and in-country providers
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and data privacy

Preferred Qualifications

• CPP or equivalent payroll certification
