Global Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute the movement of ocean and air freight shipments from booking at origin to final delivery at destination
• Maintain communications with transportation and warehousing partners to facilitate shipment progress
• Work cross-functionally within Flexport to ensure shipments move on time and exceptions are handled appropriately
• Own data quality by validating booked shipments, tracking status, and validating shipment schedules
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet internal KPIs and Service-Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Use metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and performance optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Associate's degree OR 1+ year of relevant experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Suite (specifically Sheets/Excel)
• A "compliance-first" attitude to navigate a heavily regulated industry
• Team-centric mindset focused on delivering client and team expectations
