Global Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end movement of global shipments, including ocean (LCL/FCL) and air imports and exports.
• Act as the front line for quality assurance, ensuring shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately.
• Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners such as steamship lines, air carriers, customs, and trucking vendors.
• Own the client experience by solving issues quickly and ensuring smooth operations at both origin and destination.
• Execute tasks according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and satisfy internal KPIs and SLAs.
• Quote and invoice client shipments with responsibility to their P&L.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or ocean carrier operations.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills to manage a large volume of tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and high attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to adapt to new technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Knowledge of ocean freight operations.
